Road Test Service in Collier County & Lee County

Cantor’s Driving School is now offering road test service by accompanying students to the Tax Collector’s office.

Cost: $200
Length: 2 hours

Times the road test will be scheduled
Monday – Friday
11:00am, 11:15, 2:00pm, 2:15pm

The instructor will pick up the student from work, school one hour prior to the scheduled road test. The instructor will give the student a mini refresher lesson before the scheduled road test.

Students are not dropped off after the road test and must arrange for pickup from the testing location.

Policies

These policies apply to driver training services offered by Cantor’s Driving School. By using our services, you are accepting these terms and conditions. Please read our policies.

6-Hour Minimum: Students must have completed a minimum of 6 hours training for this service.

Parent/Guardian Signature:If a student is a minor and under the age of 18 years of age , the parent/guardian must meet the instructor and student at the Tax Collector to sign paperwork at the time of the test or after the road test has been taken.

Cantor’s Vehicles Only:The road test will only be given in the Cantor’s vehicle, never the students own vehicle. Cantor’s has the valid registration, valid vehicle insurance, and an operational vehicle for the test to be administered.

Remain in County: The road test will only be scheduled and taken in the county the student resides.

Permit Requirements: Minors can not be tested until they have held their FL permit one year from the issue date on the permit.

Road Test Payment Policy: All road test services require full payment before scheduling. You can register, pay and schedule online, or call our office (954-740-1103) during office hours to pay, register and schedule over the phone.

Retest Policy: If you take the road test with Cantor’s Driving School and do not pass, the retest fee is $150. Call our office during office hours Monday – Friday 9am -5pm (954-740-1103) to pay and schedule the retest.

Refund Policy: If a refund is requested after a road test is purchased, there is a $40 administrative fee to process the refund. No refunds are issued after one year from the date of purchase. Once a refund is processed, it typically takes 5 to 10 business days for the charge to be credited back to the credit card used for the purchase.

Road Test Cancellation & No Show Policy: 48 hours notice is required to cancel a road test without penalty. If you cancel with less than 48 hours notice, there will be a $50 charge for the road test to be rescheduled. No-shows – if you do not show up for your road test appointment, there will be a $90 charge for rescheduling.

The road test service has a validity period of one year from the date of purchase. It’s important to keep track of this expiration date to ensure you can utilize the service within that time frame.
